farmers market:
thee is a huge gap in the universe between people inspired to find locally produce food and those providers who are usually really good at producing and not very good at marketing or fulfillment.
Basically there is a gap between a 'stand' at some weekend market and a grocery store that needs to be filled.
Farmers Market will fill that gap with a SaaS solution where farmers can log on to update inventory and prices and consumers can search, place orders and arrange delivery either from the producer directly or a middleman who consolidates.

sort of, but this isn't a build it and they will come kind of thing. I'm thinking almost like a franchise. Someone in a community takes ownership of their local 'farmers market' They find the producers, train them, keep them up to date and market for them..perhaps even distribute. They make their money on a transaction %

Kind of similar, but geared more toward "artisan" producers (who may also have a stand at the local farmers market) -

Don't know why this says anonymous, but it's Chris Baggott's idea.
